Apart from the Lockdown I rarely venture down to Black Rock Sands and certainly not in the summer, the place is far too busy. When the weather has been stormy then the whole place changes, the normally peaceful beach becomes a wild and violent place. As I get older and find it difficult to get to the drama of the high mountains, the equally dramatic coastline is an excellent substitute
