I love this unusual part of Portmeirion village. Many visitors see it clearly from the hotel but few attempt to climb or descend the steps. The steps would take you to the upper part of  the village, but what makes these steps interesting is that they are broken up by peculiar small strutures, like small refuges to shelter from the elements. A great drawing subject also.
